WAter quality tips

  • The water quality testing results you are about to view are at least two days old.

  • River water quality usually gets worse during rainfall, then returns to normal.

  • How quickly it returns to normal depends on how much it rains. More rain means a slower return to normal.

  • PVRC is aware of water quality and many other river safety issues and acts accordingly.

  • PVRC encourages everyone to wash with soap and water after river contact especially open cuts or blisters; and before consuming food.
