On Saturday, July 3 and Saturday, August 7 all are welcome to learn about Dragon Boating and Rowing at PVRC. No reservations are necessary, minimum age 13 for getting in a boat, please arrive between 10am and 11am, the program will conclude at 12pm. Wear athletic clothes, ideally NOT cotton shirt or shorts (they get heavy and soggy if wet), shoes you won't mind getting wet, a hat or other sun protection, your own water bottle, and a positive attitude! Our coaches and volunteers will teach you the basics, oversee your safety, and if all goes well, get you in a boat. The next step would be to sign up for an Introduction to Rowing or Dragon Boating session, under the Programs page on this site. The event is rain or shine.
